I am excited to inform you that I have recently been given a wonderful opportunity to serve our Lord Jesus Christ through LCMS World Mission, to Sopron, Hungary as a GEO Missionary. This means that I have the opportunity to be in this place for at least 1-2 years with the hopes of building relationships and sharing the Gospel message!
While there I will be teaching conversational English at the local Lutheran high school. Working with these students every day, relationships can be built and the Holy Spirit will be at work that they may hear the Word of our Lord. I am thrilled to be returning to Hungary for a third time in a much more permanent manner. As I have grown to love these people very much, I am quite excited to be returning to them and serving in this way!
Please keep the high school, the church in Hungary, myself, and all our missionaries in your prayers.I also ask that you talk to other people about the work I will be doing and ask them to pray too. There is no such thing as too much prayer!
Service as a missionary most often times (and in my case, definitely) means that we are not financially self-sufficient. The way that this work happens is through the financial support received from others. Thanks to Bethlehem for supporting the first year of service, and thanks to all who consider supporting for further service and to benefit the church in Hungary.
